Use a supported browser Open this page in Google Chroome, Opera, or Brave. Other browsers may not support the update process correctly.
Prepare your module Power down your modular system and remove the Meta module from your case. Important! Do not power the module from any source during the update.
Enter firmware update mode Hold the BOOT button on the back of the Meta module. While holding it, plug a Micro USB cable into Meta's USB port.
Connect to your device Click the connect button below to begin. Make sure your browser detects a device. Choose "DFU in FS Mode" (or any option starting with "DFU...") from the list that appears.
Choose firmware Select the firmware version you want to install from the dropdown menu.
Start the update Click program and wait for the progress bar to complete.
Finish When the LEDs on Meta light up, the update is complete. You can now disconnect the USB cable and return the module to your setup.
Troubleshoot

If the updater isn’t working on your Chrome or Opera browser, try clearing the cache or press Shift + Command + R for a hard refresh.

Make sure you connect the module to the computer using a good Micro USB data cable (and not power only!).
